Nathaniel Moran is serving in his second term in Congress, representing the heart of East Texas. His stated mission is to serve his constituents with steadfast principles, effective statesmanship, humble service, and bold action.
His political worldview is rooted in his Christian faith, his love of family, and his dedication to preserving liberty and ardently defending the U.S. Constitution.

Nathaniel grew up on a small Bible college campus, where his parents instilled in him a lifelong devotion to hard work, service to others, and service to God—principles that continue to guide his life today.

A Whitehouse Wildcat from kindergarten through graduation, Nathaniel learned leadership through sports, academics, and service. After attending the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, he completed his education at Texas Tech, earning degrees in Russian, an MBA, and a law degree. Upon returning to East Texas, he built a successful law practice and served six years as Smith County Judge before his election to Congress in 2022.

Judge Moran—as many still call him—has been married to Kyna since 1999, and together they are raising four children: Caleb, Victoria, Juliette, and Lincoln. Currently, he serves on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee (tax, trade, Social Security, Medicare), the China Select Committee, the House Ethics Committee, and as Chairman of the Transatlantic Legislators' Dialogue—giving East Texas a voice on the world stage. The family are proud members of South Spring Baptist Church in Tyler.
