On the Ways & Means Committee, Nathaniel pushes for tax and trade policies that help these employers grow and keep good jobs here at home.

Moran has backed plans for passenger rail along the I-20 corridor to link East Texas with DFW, boosting travel options and local economies from Tyler to nearby cities. He’s also worked to secure federal support for infrastructure, including recent FAA grants that upgraded Tyler Pounds Regional Airport.

The NET RMA’s Toll 49 corridor is improving travel around Tyler, Longview, and Marshall. Nathaniel works to ensure federal funding reaches East Texas communities so local families can drive on safer, more reliable roads.
Healthcare
Tyler is the medical hub of East Texas, home to UT Health Tyler and CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances. Moran supports policies that strengthen healthcare access and backs the new UT Tyler School of Medicine to train doctors right here in Smith County.
